Unintended Consequences

It’s sadly funny that conservatives can imagine the most bizarre unintended consequences of government actions (e.g. death panels) as possible …

yet they think that the unintended consequences of their proclamations (stand your ground, personhood at conception) is an abomination of sense that needlessly be considered when writing the laws.

As we have seen, unwarranted provocations against blacks have led to deaths which were defended by stand your ground laws.

If personhood at conception becomes law, rape victims may be forced to carry their rapist’s child. Also any pregnancy that terminates before live birth will involve the death of a person and liable to determination if legal charges should be brought against the mother, the father, doctor, bartender, food provider, or so on.
