Forward to Genius

Songstress of sweet nostalgia
Brimming with nature’s pleasure
Yet for too long afraid to look ahead.
Her vision beautiful but barren
No humans in her distant Eden.
Until one holiday season
An unexpected excitement lit her spirit
Firing a Renaissance.
Corralled depths, once unleashed
Exciting pastorals leaped to her songbook.
